Memberships
A Typical Friday at Playgroup
Playgroup runs from 9.00am to 11.00am, but you are welcome to arrive and leave whenever suits your family. We know little ones have naps, snacks, and busy mornings.
9.00am | Arrive & Settle In
Sign in via the QR code, say hello and let your little one choose what they'd like to explore first. We bring toys and resources out as the morning unfolds.
9.30am | Play Invitations Begin
Each week includes a mix of sensory play, art, loose parts, STEM, imaginative play and free play.
Throughout the Morning | Child Led Play
Children can build cubbies, create, climb, pretend, explore outside, chase bubbles, enjoy messy play or follow whatever interests them most.
10.40am | Pack Away Time
We begin packing away together before finishing the session.
Our sessions are free flowing and child led, with no pressure or strict schedule. Whether you stay for twenty minutes or the full morning, you're welcome to come and go whenever it suits your family's routine.

What is a community playgroup?
A community playgroup is a group where local families can come together, connect, and give children a relaxed place to play, learn, and build friendships.
Aubin Grove Community Playgroup is managed by a parent committee with the support of our local community. We rely on grants, donations, volunteers, and community support to help us keep running.
We are proudly volunteer run, community based, and not for profit.
What does it cost to join?
Families can attend casually for $4 per session or choose term attendance for $35 per family, per term.
Your first two trial sessions are free!
After your trial sessions, all attending families also require a Playgroup WA membership, which is paid directly to Playgroup WA and includes insurance cover while attending playgroup. Membership is $35 per year or $15 concession.
We know every family’s situation is different. If cost is a concern, please reach out. We will always do our best to help make playgroup accessible for everyone.
Is playgroup suitable for babies?
Yes. We welcome children from birth to 5 years. Babies are welcome to join in age appropriate activities, explore the space, and enjoy meeting new faces while parents and carers connect with other families.
What should I bring?
Just bring yourself, your child, a hat for outdoor play, and anything your little one may need during the session such as snacks, a drink bottle, nappies, or a change of clothes.
Can I arrive late?
Yes, absolutely. Our sessions are free-flowing, so you’re welcome to arrive and leave whenever suits your family. We know naps, school drop offs and mornings with little ones don’t always run to plan.
Can Grandparents come?
Yes! Parents, carers and grandparents are all welcome. Playgroup is for little ones and the grown ups who love them.
What happens if my child is shy?
That’s completely okay. We know new places can feel like a big adventure. Children are welcome to take their time, stay close to you and join in whenever they feel ready.
